For public interest, senior Energy industry executive Karl W. Miller issued the following todays announced natural gas storage withdrawal by the EIA of 266 Bcf.
When you factor in the demand curtailments on the mainline pipelines, force majeure provisions that were declared, and freeze offs, the actual number should be approximately 280 Bcf.
Therein lies the problem, the EIA continues to understate the net demand and usage of working gas which continues to be a bullish signal for the market going forward into the winter months.
