Management and Field Operations Team
Paul Branagan
President and CEO
Mr. Branagan is a physicist with over 30 years experience in oil and gas applied
to commercial and technical R&D projects, specifically focussed on evaluating
and modeling complex petroleum reservoirs and large scale field projects, as
well as developing enhancement methods to improve production from such fields.
In 1993, he founded Branagan & Associates, an engineering firm specializing in
oil and gas consulting with a variety of clients including the Gas Research
Institute, Sandia National Labs, Barrett Resources, Conoco, Williams Production,
Mobil, CNPC in China and many others.
Lawrence Finn
Chief Financial Officer
Petrol Oil and Gas, Inc. (POIG) announces the appointment of Mr. Lawrence Finn, CPA, as its new CFO. Mr Finn joins Petrol with over 32 years of financial and accounting experience in the petroleum industry, with 19 years as a financial officer.

Stoeckinger
Consulting Geologist
Mr. Stoeckinger is an expert in subsurface studies of mature basins, with
special emphasis on shallow gas and coalbed methane targets, who has written
extensively on the CBM potential in Kansas.
A consulting Certified Petroleum Geologist and Licensed Kansas Geologist, he has
40 years experience in both domestic and international oil and gas exploration
and development. Over the last 15 years he has identified hundreds of drillable
prospects in Kansas and Oklahoma which resulted in significant discoveries of
shallow gas.
Gary K. Bridwell
Field Development Supervisor
Mr. Bridwell has over 30 years of oil field operations and management experience
in Kansas as an owner/operator, consultant, and employee of independent
production companies. Mr. Bridwell will manage the field operations associated
with developing Petrol’s coalbed methane resources.
Mr. Bridwell has coalbed methane
gas experience in well drilling, completion and testing operations supervision,
as well as installation and maintenance of surface facilities such as
compressors and pipelines.
Robert Howell
Independent Advisory Board Member
Robert has effectively managed corporate growth efforts in both start-up companies and Fortune 100 companies for 35 years. Since 1988 his efforts have been directed to the oil and gas, power and utility sectors in the energy industry. As Executive Vice President for Duke Energy, he implemented various programs that drove several of the growth efforts for the fastest growing portion of the company for 4 years. As Senior Vice President of UtiliCorp United (Aquila) Robert directed the Corporate Development efforts of the Company for 11 years. He now operates RL Howell & Associates, Inc. from which he provides business organization, growth, financing and business operations consulting services to a host of start up and mid size organizations. Prior to 1988, his activities included corporate and venture capital work in the high tech industry. During his career Robert has successfully executed over 75 acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures throughout the U. S., Australasia and Europe. His development programs have been responsible for over $10 Billion of asset growth. Robert received a BSEE degree from Iowa State University (Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu honor societies). He also holds an MBA degree from the University of Minnesota.
Steve Cochennet
Independent Advisory Board Member
Steve has spent over 18 years in corporate and operational roles in the energy sector. From 1985 to 2002, he held several executive positions with UtiliCorp United (Aquila) in Kansas City. His responsibilities included finance, administration, operations, human resources, corporate development, gas/energy marketing, and managing several new start up operations. Prior to his experience at UtiliCorp United, Steve served 6 years with the Federal Reserve System. Steve formed the CSC Group, LLC through which he supports a number of clients that include Fortune 500 corporations, international companies, gas/electric utilities, outsource service providers, as well as various start up organizations. The services provided include strategic planning, capital formation, corporate development, executive networking and transaction structuring. He also serves on several advisory boards.
Steve graduated from The University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance.
